Subaru Impreza
Exterior
The biggest difference between the Subaru Impreza
and the Subaru Crosstrek is that the Crosstrek is a small SUV, while the
Impreza is a sedan or hatchback car. This setup can make a difference when
parking in tight Danvers parking spaces. The Subaru Impreza hatchback is longer
than the Crosstrek (15.2 feet long vs. 14.7 feet long). However, the Subaru
Impreza sedan is slightly shorter than the Crosstrek (14.6 feet long vs. 14.7
feet long).
Interior
If you drive to work every day in North Reading,
MA, you want a vehicle with plenty of room to stretch out and feel cozy. The
Subaru Impreza sedan has 99.8 cubic feet of passenger volume, while the
hatchback has 100.9 cubic feet.
Cargo space is also very similar between the two
vehicles. The Subaru Impreza sedan has a 12.3 cubic-foot trunk, but the Impreza
hatchback has up to 55.3 cubic feet of total cargo space.
Safety
Subaru is renowned for building safe vehicles, so
it's no surprise that both the Impreza and the Crosstrek earned
five-out-of-five stars for overall safety in ratings by the National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration. Both vehicles also received the highest rating
of Good in all six crash tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
However, people in Belmont may prefer the Impreza for night driving. It earned a
Good rating for how well its headlights illuminate the road ahead.
