The XT trims feature a turbocharged variant that produces 224 hp and 226 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on the 2.5X and 2.5X Premium, with a four-speed automatic offered as an option. 
The Forester has 33.5 cubic feet of cargo room behind the rear seats and 68.3 cubic feet with them folded down. A large rear gate makes loading and unloading very easy.
The Forester has important safety features including a total of six front, front seat-side and side-curtain airbags. Forester's smart braking system includes Antilock Braking System (ABS) preventing wheel lock-up and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) that balances braking.

Your Subaru Forester Warranty
The Forester's basic warranty offers coverage for 3 year/36,000
miles. The drive-train warranty extends to 5 years/60,000 miles and covers most
of the parts that make the vehicle move, including the engine, transmission,
drive axles and driveshaft. In addition there is a 3 year/36,000 mile roadside
warranty and a 5 year/unlimited miles corrosion warranty.
